Neuroscience, nutrition & gut-brain health for real life.

I’m Dr Miguel Toribio-Mateas, a clinical neuroscientist, nutrition researcher and author working across ADHD, neurodivergence, nervous-system regulation and the gut-brain axis. I translate that science into practical support, education, and consultancy informed by the complexity of how people actually live.

Work with me

What I do

I blend neuroscience, nutrition, and lived experience to support people and organisations in building genuine wellbeing, bridging the gap between scientific insight and everyday life, and cultivating a sense of belonging where differences can truly flourish.

Here’s how I bring that to life:

Wellbeing for real people and real workplaces.

Boosting productivity is very 2005. I’m talking about creating spaces where both your body and your mind are respected, and where difference and emotion are valued, not hidden.

Science across boundaries.

Gut-brain health, nutritional psychiatry, neurodiversity, mental wellbeing… all woven together in practical, evidence-based ways you can feel tangibly, not just read about.

Applying research in daily life.

Helping you, your team, or your organisation move beyond surface solutions, so you can stop just coping and start living and working in a way that feels true to who you are.

Join my newsletter community

A thoughtful space where science meets story, and where food, mood, gut-brain health, neurodivergence and everyday nervous system care all belong in the same conversation.

I’ll send you reflections, practical ideas, fun experiments, book updates and honest notes from the human side of research, ADHD, creativity and body-mind health. This is also where I’ll share early news about ADHD Body + Mind resources, events and future community spaces.
